Emergency Gas Line Repair and Compliance Works

EVAC received an urgent callout for a gas leak at a service centre. Emergency services and the gas company had already attended, and the gas supply had been turned off for safety. The objective was to identify the source of the leak, carry out emergency repairs to restore service, and assess the situation for long-term rectification.

Phase 1 - Emergency Response

• On-site attendance within 1 hour of receiving the callout
• Identified the damaged gas line near the shed
• Emergency repair and restoration of gas service
• Reconnected gas line and conducted testing to ensure it was safe and functional
• Provided consultation and recommendations to modify gas line for compliance

Phase 2 - Compliance and Preventative Works

• Alteration of existing pipework to meet current compliance standards
• Supply and Install custom flashing to cover and protect the gas pipework
• Comprehensive testing of the modified system to ensure full functionality and safety
