Emergency Rectification of External Burst Main Pipe

An emergency call-out for EVAC was required to rectify an external burst main pipe issue at the property. The water authority had previously attended and advised that a plumber was needed. Due to the issue, the centre had no water, as the water meter from the fire service had been stolen, causing significant water flooding. Immediate action was necessary to restore water supply and prevent further damage.

• Emergency site attendance - assessed the situation and coordinated with the water authority to turn off the water at the mains
• Supply and Installation -  Sourced and installed a new water meter assembly from the Water Authority
• Security Measures - Installed a lockable cage around the new water meter to prevent theft
• Testing and Validation - Conducted thorough testing to ensure proper function before leaving the site
